Re: the harmony channel
Fri, January 11, 2008 - 5:14 PMThat's a great site, thanks. A watched a couple of the videos and they blend visuals and music very beautifully. There's a lot of potential to use this kind of imagery to change our awareness. -

Re: the harmony channel
Sat, May 3, 2008 - 6:51 PMThanks for the kudos... My specialty is the use of mass media and virtual reality to enhance our quality of consciousness. Some of Harmony's visual music is subtle and some folks don't get it. We're so used to the barrage of intense media messaging, emotional triggers and fast pace that we are no longer comfortable with "slow." I do think this will be a trend in the future, however, when cognitive loading becomes so extreme that we will need to chill out to stay healthy.
Harmony videos are licensed from artists around the world. If you like what you see you can support them by purchasing their DVD at www.moodzones.com.
If anyone is interested, my other websites are www.visualbandwidth.com and www.vorteximmersion.com.

Fri, May 9, 2008 - 12:36 AMHi Ed,
great to have the information from the source...what you say about the conditioning of cognition being hardwired to fast rather than slow. I also do feel that slow has tremendous value, in fact necessity. The yoga boom proves what you are saying about it becoming a trend again, for part of the appeal of yoga is the tuning in to the moment to moment experience and dropping out of the information highway matrix, to put it in a slightly geeky way.
The world desperately needs channels like yours brother.
